Services

ESI is a non-profit research lab that can offer a number of different services to government, commercial and educational customers. These can include:
  • Space technology and systems development,
  • Space mission planning,
  • Development of test and flight hardware,
  • Spacecraft hardware testing and validation, and,
  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) education & outreach activities.

All ESI efforts involve significant numbers of students and young professionals, paired with some of the best engineering and management talent and advisers that can be found in the NewSpace industry. Our non-profit status and our unique focus on utilizing student labor in the design, construction and testing of space hardware, results in an efficient operation and a significantly reduced cost structure. This allows ESI services to be competitively priced, often times significantly less than the traditional aerospace industry. Additionally ESI customers can gain the unique advantages of access to creative and innovative students who may be good candidates for future employment, while engendering goodwill by helping to develop the next generation workforce.

Lunar Payload Delivery Services

Download our Lunar Payload Planners' Guide.
ESI offers lunar payload delivery services to customers, beginning with the company's inaugural mission in pursuit of the Google Lunar X PRIZE in the second quarter of 2015. Following that mission, ESI plans lunar missions launching every other year, each of which will be tailored to arrive at a customer-selected location on the lunar surface. The ultimate frequency of ESI missions will be dictated by lunar payload delivery demand, which is expected to increase as ESI and other providers increase availability and decrease costs. For information regarding availability, pricing, and other details, please refer to our comprehensive Lunar Payload Planner's Guide.
